1. Who we are
GPFAC (“Global Professionals Footballer’s Agents Center”, “we”, “us”) is a football networking platform that connects players with FIFA-licensed agents and scouts, available as a mobile app on iOS and Android and at the-gpfac.com.

2. What we collect
Information you give us
- Account details — your email address and a password when you register. Passwords are handled by Google Firebase Authentication and are never visible to us in readable form.
- Profile information — the details you choose to add to your player, agent, or scout profile, such as your name, nationality, date of birth or age, position or specialisation, club or organisation, biography, and contact details.
- Photos and videos — profile photos and highlight videos you choose to upload.
- Messages — the content of messages you send to other users through the app.
Information collected automatically
- Profile view activity — when you view another user’s profile, we record that your profile viewed theirs (see section 4).
- Push notification tokens — a device token so we can deliver notifications, via Firebase Cloud Messaging.
- Device integrity signals — Firebase App Check verifies requests come from a genuine copy of our app, to protect the platform from abuse.
- Purchase information — if you buy a subscription, the purchase is processed by Apple’s App Store or Google Play. We and our subscription partner RevenueCat receive confirmation of your subscription status, but never your card or bank details.
What we don’t do: the GPFAC app contains no advertising and no third-party analytics trackers. We do not sell your personal information to anyone.
3. How we use your information
- To create and operate your account and profile
- To let you connect with and message other users
- To deliver features you’ve chosen, such as highlight videos, shortlists, and profile-viewer insights
- To manage subscriptions and unlock the plan you’ve paid for
- To send you notifications you can control in your device settings
- To keep the platform safe, prevent abuse, and enforce our Terms of Service
4. Who can see your information
GPFAC is a networking platform, so some of your information is visible to other users by design:
- Your profile — the profile details, photos, and videos you add are visible to other GPFAC users so that players, agents, and scouts can find and evaluate each other.
- Messages — visible only to you and the person you’re messaging.
- Profile views — if you view someone’s profile, that person may see that you viewed it (this insight is part of our premium features).
- Shortlists — agents and scouts can add player profiles to private shortlists; shortlists are visible only to the account that created them.
Think carefully before adding contact details to your public profile — anything on your profile can be seen by other users.
5. Services we rely on
We use a small number of trusted providers to run GPFAC. They process your data only to provide their service to us:
- Google Firebase (Google LLC) — authentication, database, file storage, push notifications, and app security. Firebase privacy documentation
- RevenueCat — subscription management. RevenueCat privacy policy
- Apple App Store / Google Play — payment processing for subscriptions, under their own terms and privacy policies.
Some of these providers store data on servers outside the United Kingdom. Where that happens, transfers are protected by safeguards such as the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.
6. How long we keep your information
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, or ask us to, we delete your profile, photos, videos, and messages from our systems, except where we need to keep limited records to meet legal obligations or resolve disputes. Backup copies are removed on a rolling basis.
7. Your rights
Under UK data protection law (UK GDPR), you have the right to:
- Access — ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Correction — have inaccurate information corrected (you can edit your profile in the app at any time)
- Deletion — ask us to delete your personal information
- Portability — receive your information in a portable format
- Objection and restriction — object to or limit certain uses of your information
To exercise any of these rights, email contact@the-gpfac.com. If you’re unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
8. Children
GPFAC is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child under 16 has created an account, contact us at contact@the-gpfac.com and we will remove the account and its data.
9. Security
Your data is stored with Google Firebase, protected by encryption in transit and at rest, and by access rules that restrict who can read and write each type of data. No system is ever completely secure, but we design GPFAC so that each user can only access what they’re meant to.
10. Changes to this policy
If we make meaningful changes to this policy, we’ll update the effective date at the top and, for significant changes, notify you in the app. The latest version always lives at the-gpfac.com/privacy.
